Gareth Keith Taylor, born on February 25, 1973, is a football manager and former player who is currently the head coach of Manchester City Women. He started his career as a defender at Bristol Rovers but was later converted into a striker. Taylor played for various clubs including Crystal Palace, Sheffield United, Manchester City, Burnley, Nottingham Forest, Tranmere Rovers, Doncaster Rovers, and Wrexham. During his time at Tranmere Rovers, after leaving Nottingham Forest in 2006, Taylor's role was as a striker, and his experience and skills were seen as valuable assets to the team in League One.
